Why is Reeves wanting to leave Kentucky? Seems like an odd move to go from Kentucky where he played a ton to Memphis which is definitely a step down. Is it just a money thing?
as long as its not Michigan im happyShare the court with 8 freshman who are ball hogs and chuckers … Or go play with a few veterans at Memphis against lower level comp and raise your numbers … Penny isn’t a bad coach either …
No done deal he goes to Memphis … But for what he’s looking for, they’re the best fit IMO …
Smart money is also always on Slick Rick …
Impressive 1st post! We have a new insiderPaul Mulcahy very likely to enter the Portal today.
Inevitably there will be Transfers, and trying to build a roster on Transfers every year seems doomed to just go completely busto at some point. We're already seeing diminishing returns in the quality of transfers we can pull from this year compared to last.Is it? We will potentially have Dain, Amani, and Morez up front. Williams, Rodgers, Goode, Harris, DGL (Morreti?) playing 1-3. The reason we have so many super seniors is because that's what we have targeted in the portal. We'll very likely be portal shopping next off-season as well. I think by design.

Very true. To borrow a term, the transfer market seems like "fool's gold." You might strike here and there (love TSJ) but the long term health of a program likely remains traditional HS recruits. The current system is not sustainable. Hopefully, we do not lose sight of traditional recruiting to chase transfers year after year.Inevitably there will be Transfers, and trying to build a roster on Transfers every year seems doomed to just go completely busto at some point. The fact that I'm not even hearing Illinois being mentioned for any outstanding 2024 recruits is pretty concerning. Feels like Underwood is getting a bit desperate.

Morez up to #44 overall and #1 in IL. JB still listed in IL, but down to #88 overall and #3 in state behind Nojus.
In your defense I’m guessing there are some UK fans that may never know. Not reading the notifications as I realized my sleep deprived brain does not know the difference in Kentucky and Tennessee today
Fixedok im not hip to certain abbreviations...what is FIFY?
The fact that JB was ever rated higher than Rez is downright laughable. He will not be making it to Chapel Hill.247Sports ranks Illini commit Morez Johnson as top player in state for 2024 class

Not if you consider Shannon and Coleman to be equivalent to transfers like many of us do.We're already seeing diminishing returns in the quality of transfers we can pull from this year compared to last.
