Glover has a visit scheduled with us … Just don’t know if he will make it or not … He is a lock to St. John’s per multiple sources of mine …

So you’re saying Oregon St still has a chance with Diallo then? 😜.

Well they did just make final 5 for 3* 7 foot bean pole ‘24 Austin Maurer, whose dad played TE for the Beavers. So we got that going for us . . . which is nice.

With the nature of the transfer rules, and the inherent impatience many young players have regarding playing time it would be foolish to assume you know what you will have next year. If you want an "old" team some of those old guys are likely coming from the portal. There just aren't enough minutes to keep every youngster happy. What was (regarding roster continuity and player development), is no more. Hopefully we will see a bit more stability than the last couple of off seasons, but some turnover will be the norm.

I still think the young guys on this team who don't play much have a tremendous opportunity to play a lot next year. Hopefully they will see the big picture when the time comes.

I made a similar post a while back. Keady is a Hall of Famer. Objectively great. Made it past the second weekend regularly enough. But, I agree with you. Not what I would want our next 25 years to look like.

In business, in sports, in life the goal is to be better than your previous best (even if it's just a little bit better). Keady's tenure doesn't move the needle in that regard. We're capable of and have achieved more.

What about Koa Pete who's father is from Champaign and is highly touted? I thought I heard we were in the mix, very interested but may be a long shot. I wonder is he may have family in CU. I see he is rated #4 in the nation in 2025. Him next to Morez would be awesome.
