I actually thought they had a chance to start 2-1 before the season. For me the wild card on whether they'd start with that record was the Week 1 game vs. San Francisco. I figured they'd get killed by Green Bay but beat Houston.

The game this Sunday with the Giants could be interesting as it appears Daboll is okay with Daniel Jones not having much protection from his o-line.
Sounds eerily similar to our situation....

Oh it is but so long as the Bears can contain Saquon they should have a chance to win. And with as bad as Bears receiving corps is, I don't know if what the Giants have is that much better at all.
They spent a ton of money on Kenny Golladay and it really hasn't worked out.

Still, I am not a Daniel Jones believer and I think the weapons there would look different with a real QB. Not least of which because Saquon is such a stud in the pass game. You could get up to all kinds of hijinks with him and WanDale Robinson.

I don't think Daboll has bought into Daniel Jones either and is wanting to get the QB he can develop next April.

Every now and again the sports doofus take on a draft prospect is right.

Tua was too fragile to last in the SEC and he's too fragile to last in the NFL.

He shouldn't have played tonight and this is going to end incredibly poorly for the Dolphins and the NFL.

I know it's all about the money but I don't understand why they can't work it out so the teams playing on Thursday night are coming off a bye week. You could still have 6-8 Thursday games, couldn't you? Most of these games suck anyway and how can you be concerned about player safety asking them to play games four days apart.

The Giants really honoring their uniform connection with the Illini by wearing a helmet and jersey color that don't match at all.

A certain extent is a good way to put it. After watching last week, I found myself questioning whether having a QB was part of our larger gameplan at all

I get that. And I heard someone recently debating how OSU skill position players like Fields struggle when they play higher level competition in college (i.e. non-B1G or Group of 5 schools) and especially on the pro level.

Steelers losing at home to the Jets hurts a bit more when you consider this is what they have been now and their bye week:

at Buffalo
vs. Tampa Bay
at Miami
at Philadelphia
