It's interesting to watch him come into his own after so many people were angry that Marco Gonzales was doing well and TON was still a work in progress.
I'm so happy I was dead wrong to date about TON. I'll keep shitting on him if he can do this for the next 4-6 years.

Would love to see all four end up 91-71! Go Tampa Bay, Washington, Seattle, and Toronto today. I hate the Yankees, so if Washington loses and the rest go as I like, that is good two. Let NYY play to get into the WC and then have to travel to Boston the next day.

Looks like it's gonna be Cardinals vs. Dodgers in the Wild Card game. Giants up big in the 7th against the Padres. Cardinals may be catching a break though as Muncy had to leave today's game with an arm injury.

Hochman: As DeJong and Sosa vie to start in wild card game, Cards' 2022 shortstop could be Dodgers' Seager

The Cardinals’ 2022 shortstop will likely be in Wednesday’s wild card game — but with the Cards or Dodgers?
I’m eager to see Corey Seager in red — he should be the Cardinals’ offseason target. The Dodgers’ shortstop and reigning World Series MVP is a lefthanded-hitting slugger, and the Cardinals could sure use a lefthanded-hitting slugger.
Seager will be a free agent this winter, and though the Cards normally collect National League West superstar infielders via trades, Seager should fit into their budget, in part due to those often-discussed contracts coming off the books. And, frankly, if there was a player to splurge on, it would be a 27-year-old whose 2021 batting average (.306) and OPS (.915) are even better than his impressive career batting average (.297) and OPS (.870).

Interesting game so far....

Max S. out of game in 5th inning
Adam W. getting stronger production after giving up the home run
Never been a fan of Ron Darling as an announcer and the play by play guy is no Danny Mac..........
Joe West was not my first choice for being the home plate umpire tonight

Go Cardinals

Darling is part of a really good three-man announce team for the Mets with Gary Cohen and Keith Hernandez.

The play-by-play guy has been part of the lead announce team for TBS for the last few years and is really good too.

Is it me or does this play by play guy really get excited when the Dodgers have something good happen?
I think for baseball media types the Dodgers are an exciting team. They have a lineup laden with proven stars and are defending champs, won iver 100 games. If they tried they could just as much to get excited with our team (I mean our outfield alone is an extremely exciting group with great personalities) but when one of these teams is going to be gone after tonight I think they just lean on the easier narrative.

I noticed that the so called good play by play announcer called Carlson by the name of Carlton 3 times last inning
and yeah his voice goes up an octave or two about anything Dodgers

Give me Danny Mac and whoever for the best call in baseball

If this game goes to extra innings will they use the stupid runner on second to start the inning rule like they did in the regular season ???
