Maryland muffs opening kickoff and Michigan one play for a touchdown. Ouch.

Felt bad for that Maryland kick returner. Right off his face mask. Bad moment to have a brain freeze. Without that muff and gimme TD this score would look a lot different right now. I don’t expect it to stay this way.

The good news is that it looks like Illinois is going to be able run on Michigan.

Maryland QB makes a nice run for a first down and loses his helmet and is in a defenders face talking up a storm. No call. Illinois player does a shhhh gesture to no one in particular, 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty.

When you're Michigan this is a catch. When you're Illinois with both hands under the ball, it's not.

The refs and replay fell flat on their face with that play of an interception. I told my wife that is because they are in Ann Arbor.

When you have a coach from a coaching tree of not paying attention to details…

BTW , I'm watching the scUM vs. terp battle .....17 -13 scUM in the third period............Terps look better than I thought they would ......
being played @ the big house.....

scUM got a gift interception in the 1st half .....replay clearly showed the scUM player dropped it or fell on it ..........Urban Meyer even said it was NOT an interception ...............wasn't even reviewed at all....................wow.................bad refs and replay officials are everywhere.............................

Illini were the answer to today's Aflac trivia question on College GameDay. Question was about how Kansas has longest drought for Power 5 school not being ranked in Top 25 with Jayhawks last being ranked that high in 2009. Who is #2 on the list? Answer was Illini who have not been ranked in top 25 since 2011.
Not impossible that Kansas breaks that streak tomorrow. I bet they need one more (home vs Iowa State next week), but we'll see what happens around the lower parts of the top 25 later today.

Man Dabo just showed how much confidence he has in his QB. 40+ seconds left and he runs out the clock. I think you have to take a couple shots at least. Usually the defense is playing so soft in those situations you can get an easy 10-15 yard pass and go from there.

Miznoz loses in OT. Very hard to explain but here goes. Auburn kicker hooks the FG in OT, but a Mizzou player had jumped offsides. Subsequently the Auburn kicker gets another try and nails it.
Then Mizzou gets the ball. The RB is about to score the winning TD but loses control of the ball about 2 feet short of the end zone and Auburn recovers. Game over and Auburn wins.

Honestly surprised stuff like this doesn't lose games more often. Two hands on the ball unless you're the QB or handing it to thr official after a play/score.
