I believe that's what Utah just did reeling in RayJ.

RayJ thinks being the alpha on a mid Pac 12 team will help his draft stock … Because so many NBA GMs are tuned in to 11 PM tip for Utah vs Oregon State …

Being serious … There is no logical reason for him to pick Utah … I have no idea what he’s thinking …

Turning down $300,000+ …

I thought Kofi’s advisors were bad … This might be worse …
Hey, don’t be dissing Oregon State. I’m often up at 11 watching my Beavers, which hasn’t exactly been fun last two years. But this year, just wait. 😃

If he decides to go to Utah, so be it. Not too much anyone can do about that. If mom likes the school, if the kid likes the coach and if he's getting paid...so be it. I guess that we kinda forget that going to college does have an actual student happiness and good feel to it component. Is he playing the best competition? No. Will there be as much national viewership? No. Is he happy in his environment? If it's yes....that's the point of college. Remember, college?

Classic loyalty. Do you all realize the optimism you‘re using to excuse your disappointment is setting yourselves up for the next nutpunch.

Very little reason to assume TSJ, and Coleman will be back, or there is some super secret better PG option lined up. Just allow yourselves to be disappointed.
to your disappointment, I have been punching myself in the nuts 5 times a day all offseason. Take that!

I didn't really follow much of KU, but from what I remember is that he's more of a SG than a PG, so I'm not sure that helps us in that category? Please, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I thought he played it some at ISU but not 100%. He is a good player for sure.

Insiders need to have thick skin I guess.

I'm in the camp who come here for the rumors, inside info good and bad, all the good stuff Indy, Lville, etc provide -- all the while hoping it works out for Illinois -- but if it doesn't, the last thing I would think of doing is posting something like this. Geez. Sorry you guys have to deal with this. Keep all the info coming, the vast majority of Illini fans really appreciate it.

I'm honestly not even sure why Dennis would leave Toledo for Utah. Especially if money isn't important to him. He is the man in Toledo. They had a better record than Utah. He's got a much greater chance of making a run at a tournament appearance by staying at Toledo than going to the #7 Pac-12 team. His numbers will take a natural hit by going against better competition as well.

So money isn't it. Tournament exposure isn't it. Improving his stats isn't it. I guess Utah might get him more regular season exposure than Toledo...but I couldn't have told you anyone from their roster last year so it it really? Can't say I understand why he would go there over Illinois (or Baylor and Michigan for that matter)

I bet this is mild compared to some of the stuff you get.

And people wonder why we clap back sometimes … It’s always the people who beg for info then when it changes call you out … Like we just can sit on the phone 24/7 with our contacts and immediately get on here when something changes … That’s my favorite … 😂

There are also so many people who understand … I appreciate you guys/gals … This is not any of our full time jobs … Many of us have wives, kids, and work and many other responsibilities and this is nothing but sharing some info we get from people in the know or the staff or an agent or whoever it may be for free with you guys on here …

No one is 100% right all the time … But they only remember the misses … It don’t matter if you shoot 90+% … 🤷🏻‍♂️

He should have closed. But sometimes guys just change their minds and there is nothing you can do. RayJ wanted to come to Illinois, but certain NBA feedback he got pushed him away from that
Thats interesting because it would tell me there is something he needs to develop that coming here won't help get it done. Somehow Utah can help him more than our staff?
