With regard to THT, most of the national guru's did not even know he had an OV to Illinois lined up until quite recently. Guys like Piper have known about the visit for a lot longer. THT is keeping things very quiet and close to the vest, so I would not put a ton of faith into any national guys...

The timing is good, will allow us to get Ayo on board and then throw our entire focus on THT for his visit. A class of Ayo + THT would still be dynamite. Would also help make us attractive for a big. Would also help with the '19 guys like Okoro and Liddell.

That requires the kid to be honest with the staff. If he told them location wasn't a factor when it really was, you can't blame the staff. This kid seems to want as much attention as possible, so it doesn't seem implausible that he was telling the staff what he thought they wanted to hear so he...

BPJ would be significantly better than either of them, but I also think he will be very difficult to get. Him signing in Spring could be good for us though. If we have a good season and show well, it could impress him.
