Toronto out shot the Hawks last night (37-31) and lost by 5 goals. :D

I'm hearing more rumors about the Hawks looking to trade for Andrew Ladd. I hope they can get it done. He'd be a great addition to the top line and allow Shaw to move back to the 3rd line. Cap wise, they can make it happen. The problem is what Winnipeg will want in return. It sounds like they have asked for Tevo. I'm not sure if I'd be willing to go there, but if the Hawks can get it down to a future 1st round pick and another prospect it would be a no-brainer to me.

Ladd was the one I hated losing the most after the first capocalypse. Would love to see him back, for the right price, of course.

No TT, no way, no how. It'll be our first and McNeill (or something similar).

TT has had a disappointing year offensively, but you don't flip a 21 yo with elite vision and hands for a rental. With Big Hoss eventually (next season?) moving down to the third line, TT will move up and have far better skilled linemates. Look for a big bump in his numbers.

I've heard that the only way the Hawks will consider moving TT is if a team also agrees to take on Bickell's albatross of a contract as well. This would allow them to make additional moves prior to the deadline.

The Missile is waived. Not surprising.

Clearing cap space. If he goes unclaimed it will free up $950K of cap room. That should put the Hawks just under $4M of cap space. I would love to see them add Ladd or Boedker. That would be a big boost to the 1st and 3rd or 4th lines after sending Shaw down to the bottom six.

No doubt. I'd add Eriksson to the list. Not sure if the Bs will move him because they're in the PO hunt. But they're not going to re-sign him and they're a first round out, so mebbe. FWIW, he's at the top of my list, if he's available.

Stan's in full blown Let's Make a Deal mode. Fun times. Can he actually find a taker for Bickell?

Nice win for the good guys today. Refs almost screwed us good. TT was a boss. When Hoss returns, Weise gets his visa and Shaw moves down, the Hawks should start rolling. Pretty challenging schedule coming up.

Crawford day-to-day with upper body injury. He's not even making trip to Winnipeg.

Stopped the bleeding with an all-around good game last night. Props to Darling for turning away several strong bids.

Second place is "in their control" as the saying goes. Game in hand v. St. Louis and they play them once more. Take care of business and it is theirs for the taking.

Wrt to Dallas they need some help. Five points back, game in hand and one left v. Stars.

Not saying Hawks will win out, just pointing out their fate is is their own hands wrt to taking second place.

How worried should we be about our performances against Dallas thus far this season?
