no inside info, but my guess has always been Juwan will just be walked to the door but walk out on his own. Probably stating health concerns or maybe back to the NBA. I personally hope they sign him to an extension!!
Ive been saying this exqct thing for weeks - they will make it seem like something other than a firing for the bad record hes had the last two years

I've been pushing that they give him a lifetime extension personally ... He was right there this year ... Last years team with an All American and 2 first round picks just didn't have enough talent ... But he is right there ... He'll get it turned around ...

I think Louisville should call up Huggy-Bear. Restore some toughness and culture.

Should make it clear that no one really knows exactly how much NIL people have ... Whatever people tell you ... It's probably 500k more than they've got and with these football schools ... They have a ton of NIL but how much do they really give to hoops ... It kinda varies YOY ... But from everything I have gathered this would be my list ...

1. Illinois
2. Indiana
3. Michigan State
4. Rutgers
5. Maryland
6. Purdue
7. Michigan
8. Nebraska
9. Ohio State
10. Wisconsin
11. Minnesota
12. Iowa
13. Penn State
14. NW

The interesting dynamic for Indiana is there's strong evidence that they were able to pry away that James Madison football coach on assurances they would get a sizable NIL bump for football. You can squeeze some donors for a few more bucks to increase the pie but you also are going to have to take away from others. Does that mean basketball is getting a reduced amount? If yes, it makes sense to give Woody another year to turn the ship around while giving Curt Cignetti a year to get started and make progress. If Indiana football can make progress, it can bring in more revenue and help re-fill coffers you raided, like basketball.
