Yes ... I think if May goes to Louisville it'll be Kelsey or Wes Miller ...

Unless Diebler beats Iowa then beats us ... Then he is getting the job ...

Hiring Wes Miller, who's gone 61-41 at UC, 25-29 in conference, and never been to MM at UC, would be a doozy.

First year in the Big 12 this year ... If they were not in the Big 12 ... They would have dominated their league ...

Take a look at their record this year ... They are in every single game ... Only bad losses were OK State, WVU and @TCU ...

They could do A LOT worse than Wes Miller ... It's not like UC is rolling in NIL money either ... Bottom 3 of Big 12 ...

I'm not saying that it would be an A hire but I think it's a B hire IMO ...

Playing in Big XII just means you have very few easy games, therefore you can few bad losses. Going 4-2 in Q3 games is not the recipe for a promotion. They should improve next year but it feels like a lot of pedigree is being factored in for Wes to the point where people are wanting to focus more on his future than his actual results.

He's definitely still beloved in Carbondale.

Should have came back after his Illini stint than KSU. Or going to a school like SIU-C's sister campus, SIU-E. I could have seen him retiring at that kind of job where getting to the tournament from time to time would suffice and having hard, tough, defensive teams win 18-20 games would be painted as being a saint.

This might be a dumb question, but why is Painter never mentioned as a potential for a blue blood job? I need him out of the B1G.
I’m trying to think of how to phrase this but Painter is a Purdue lifer. He would do well at a blue blood but he recruits a different way and different type of kid than the blue bloods do. He also has it made at Purdue.
