Would the knock against Schertz be his lack of experience with larger programs? That he couldn't recruit at the high-major level? The Leipold comparison really seems solid. Plus, he plays a really fun brand of basketball to watch. I would imagine players would look at what Indiana State has done and say, "I'd enjoy playing in that system."

I like him at State. If he returns he has everyone back and depth coming in. Next year would be the year they really dominate the Valley. State will bump him to 800k-1000k after the season. It’s a poorly kept secret in Terre Haute.

Nothing wrong at all ... I just think at 72 I won't have much interest in recruiting 24/7 in the NIL/Portal Era and with the expansion of the Big Ten having to travel coast to coast every year ...

Especially with 10 or 20 million in the bank ... Think I would get me a nice beach house with some nice NL to look at and call it a career ... ;)🤷‍♂️
