Billy D would have the chance to win multiple titles at multiple schools Pitino can't do that. And very well could lose his most recent. Go easy on UNC but punish them to look serious.

I love the part of coaching searches where fans project their weapons-grade pedantry and scorekeeping onto wildly successful people making millions and millions of dollars.

Billy Donovan's name has been tossed around lately for college openings. Just spoke to Donovan and he said he is "very, very happy in the NBA and in Oklahoma City -- and is committed there." Hasn't even finished his second season in NBA.

Really hoping IU ends up with Alford and not Marshall. I'd bet on Marshall winning a title at IU.

I always knew Illini fans were smarter than Who'sYours fans.....thanks Josh for saving us some $$$$ on a wasteful search firm:

From Bloomington, IN TV:Indiana University has reached an agreement with Parker Executive Search to assist in finding and securing a new basketball coach

But, why would they need a search firm if they are already getting Donovan? :D

Except Donovan has fared far better than said Alabama coach in his pro stint.

Not saying it can't happen just that you are predicting Donovan to struggle rather than it actually being the case

Did I miss where Donovan went to the finals, won COY, and had the best record in the NBA? Because thats what Avery did with the Mavs in his first three seasons.

(Dirk fan til I die!)

The analogy was to Alabama football and Nick Saban coming back to college from the Dolphins. It had nothing to do with Avery Johnson

IU hires Parker search firm. The same fine firm that brought us Mike Thomas and Groce.
Not sure what this means.
