I don't understand why Indiana hasn't put the full court press on Archie Miller yet. That is a winning combination, he would do VERY well there.

I feel like IU fans would feel underwhelmed by Mack, Holtmann or Drew.

Some of them even seem to feel that Archie Miller is below them. They're thinking Donovan (absolutely not happening), Marshall, or Alford. Archie would satisfy most, but is seen as something of a backup candidate. The only out-of-the-box candidate getting some vocal support is Dane Fife. I think Drew would be seen as an okay hire. Mack and especially Holtmann would have the fan base groaning, even though both would be obvious home run hires in my eyes.

Drew feels like Tom Crean to me. I said before I'd be shocked if it were him, though I'd walk that back a bit now. Not shocked, just surprised. He doesn't seem like a fit at IU to me. He wins games, though.

IU fans won't be satisfied if they cannot steal Donovan/Stevens from NBA:)

Wow, good hire by LSU

I have no idea why Wade would go to LSU. Seems like he could have held out for a better situation. But then I thought Grant to Alabama and Shaka to Texas were not the jobs to leave for either. VCU guys seem to like picking football schools.

Marshall would be almost a Knight. Great coach and similar low key guy. Wife could be an assistant.

That just seems like kind of a weird fit to me for some reason.

LSU guys I know here love Wade, but they're concerned that as an "East Coast' guy, he'll look to return when a bigger job opens over there. Clemson alum, so maybe some worry there if Browell gets fired. I think it's a pretty good hire, considering their other rumored options were Crean and Kermit Davis

Between NOLA, Baton Rouge, and even into Houston and Florida, he can probably find enough athletic hoopers to play more of a "havoc" style if he chooses.
