My previous post was my 666 th here.....does that peak your interest in asking about my weird or eccentric insiderness ???
Many conclude that I'm a burnt out 69 year old hippie, when in reality my mind has been expanded over my lifetime to acknowledge the cohesive inner beauty that everyone has in them.
Due to environmental upbringing a vast majority of humans have hid or sheltered their joy instead of shining in their own path of life...
I am undeterred and refuse to let anyone, anyone rain on my parade..lts the only parade I get and I'm gonna shine baby shine...

Just curious, have they checked the Paducah water supply recently?

MI hired a high school coach to be its lead AC and went to two straight National Championship games.
Indeed...KevinC. thanks for that.

Like I stated in another thread:

Mike Jones(Dematha HS) just became a Virginia Tech assistant.

I know we’re supposedly “sexier” than Tech and all...but why are some folks so dismissive of the possibility of a HS coach moving up to the next level here in Champaign?

How long was Ron Felling at Indiana anyway?

Mike Jones complete lack of recruiting experience didn’t keep him from getting that particular gig.

For all we know Jones will end up being one of the best recruiters in the ACC.

In an ideal world we’d hire
an assistant with the coaching chops of a Brad Stevens and the recruiting acumen of an Orlando Antigua...but that person doesn’t usually exist...and if they did they‘d probably already be a head coach somewhere.
Most mortals are gonna be better at one than the other...they then have to develop those other skills as they go. But they darn sure don’t do either one without someone talking a chance on them.

*In the case of R. Smith I’ll concede that what others have said is undoubtedly correct. It just wouldn’t work...far too much Chi-Town drama...just isn’t worth it.

I've been using the zero water filtration system for over 3 years now
The thoughts I profess should in no way hinder anyone from reaching their own conclusions on their enjoyment level of life.
I respect all opinions whether I agree with them or not
It's the expressions of opinions that will bring this planet back along with the enhancements from a far higher plane of knowledge from the impending first contact at hand
The nose picking gif was excellent.
It's an expression of an opinion about this thread...cool..nuff said..

It seems like "only 1" name hasn't been brought up.

Dead period ends tomorrow? Would be nice to have someone in place by Monday
Speaking of dead periods, I feel like there’s been talk in the past of delaying hiring announcements until after the period ends. The thought was the coach could have contact with recruits during the dead period because they’re not officially recruiting for your school if they haven’t signed the paperwork yet. Is that actually allowed, and any chance that’s what’s going on?

There is a larger track record for success for NBA players/coaches succeeding in the NCAA than for NFL coaches.
I would need to see some actual data behind this to agree. My guess is it happens both ways, but it may be more common for NFL coaches to have coached in college at some point. Just off the top of my head I can think of Nick Saban, Pete Carroll, Bill Walsh, Jim Harbaugh, Steve Spurrier, Bill O’Brien, and Mike Riley as coaches that came back to college from the NFL and did pretty well in college and that’s off the top of my head. Schiano seems to be recruiting pretty well at Rutgers and I certainly hope coming back Bielema does ok coming from the NFL back to college.
