The one guy Goode most reminds me most of is Luke Recker. That is going back a ways, but they are incredibly similar at this stage.

Goes back a ways? Wow, you are young, aren't you?
They keep gettin' younger and I keep stayin' the same age...Goes back a ways? Wow, you are young, aren't you?
What a perfect post. Can this be pinned? At this point I refuse to get excited until it actually happens...
...but that's exciting.
Hate the first part but LOVE the second part.Heard this afternoon that Hoiberg and Abdelmassih locked up Bryce McGowens and he is coming to join his brother at Nebraska. Should be official Friday.
Now for some good news, as I said earlier in the week, Washington was down to two (Creighton and Illinois). Talked with a good source this afternoon, and he said we should be getting some good news this weekend...

Nebraska getting a 5-star in basketball is about as 2020 as it gets
I'll take that. Gritted the Hawkeyes to a Big Ten Tourney title if I recall correctly. Looked it up--he was honorable mention All-American. Who would be a good Illinois comp to Recker? Andy Kaufmann? The one guy Goode most reminds me most of is Luke Recker. That is going back a ways, but they are incredibly similar at this stage.
Every team needs at least one ginger -- we have now arrived. Welcome aboard Luke!!
I'm going with a mirror image of Kevin Huerter (Maryland). 6'7 with red hair. A starter both years he played at MD, before turning pro.The one guy Goode most reminds me most of is Luke Recker. That is going back a ways, but they are incredibly similar at this stage.
Great comment. I wholeheartedly agree!Won't it be nice to have some legitimate sharpshooters! Seems every year we face teams that have an entire stable full of assassins and we have 20-35% type guys. Looking forward to Goode, Miller, and Hawkins (Yes, I truly believe he is going to be a real threat outside and stretch the court). Perhaps even a little TyTy Washington with any luck. Not sure what we will see come game time for some of the others but these guys can stroke it from what I've seen

He does get going downhill and pretty tough to stop. Would be happy with Ayo jr. but not going to compare him at this point. Would seem to fit very well with Adam and Belo.I just watched highlights of Ty Ty on Youtube. The kid is a killer in the mode of Ayo with a better 3 point shot. He hit a three at the buzzer to send the game into OT. He also likes to draw Offensive Fouls on driving players. He did it three times in the game I watched. The best part was everyone on the court was a player.
My exact thoughts! A pain in the A** to opponentsLuke Goode is going to be a very good 4 year player in the B1G. And he’s gonna piss a lot of opposing fan bases off.
He will fit very GOODE.He does get going downhill and pretty tough to stop. Would be happy with Ayo jr. but not going to compare him at this point. Would seem to fit very well with Adam and Belo.
This is terrible grammar. It's "He will fit very WELLE."He will fit very GOODE.
Congrats Mr. Goode , glad you choose the Illini` , very excited for you as you move forward in your education and basketball development .
