Yeah, talent only takes you 1/3 of the way. It's also part emotional (keep your feelings together) and part mental (knowing what to do before the situation presents itself). He had 1/3. Not sure about the rest.

That's how Shrews would use him though. He's the perfect height to back down smaller guards and you can surround him with shooters. That wasn't his game at Rutgers because Rutgers had no outside shooting.

I like Ty, Harris, and Dainja all as individual players but you basically can't play them any 2 of them together because of how the defense can cheat off non shooters

Well it is hand to hand combat at this point getting players for all of these programs. We are not different than any other program trying to navigate all of this.

I was annoyed Dan posted CoHawk's Tweet here 'cause it seemed to me to belong on the Illini basketball uniform thread. I mean, I'm Superfly TNT about anyone going off topic in these threads.
