Or worse.“Coach Tucker will be holding the players involved responsible, and our football team and university will be cooperating with all related investigations by law enforcement and the Big Ten Conference."
Suspensions coming.

Addition by subtraction.Bet he wishes he had stayed!
The story is that UM players were on the field the 2 jumped player headed back early. So much to hate about this. Lots of questions. Where were the MSU coaches? How did a Michigan player(s) get separated from other UM players? MSU will be put in a tough spot as, my opinion, Tucker should be fired for lack of control of his players. But will they? Lots of outside pressures to make a move or to not make a move. Unfortunately, its going to be a rough week for Tucker and MSU.
Yes, leading with the helmet could/should be targeting and can mean ejection & suspension. I suspect officials will go to the film for review.Yep...this short video shows a good deal more than the first or previous one.....blows with the helmet definitely being delivered...that's gonna get a pretty hefty suspension....don't care how it started....can't allow players to be throwing punches and using their helmets to opponents!
I would would be really surprised if MSU doesn't have at least 5-10 players suspended for next weekends game. (Just a guess, I have no inside knowledge).Or worse.
Gives Tucker an excuse for losing to us.I would would be really surprised if MSU doesn't have at least 5-10 players suspended for next weekends game. (Just a guess, I have no inside knowledge).
Likely on Nov. 6.“Coach Tucker will be holding the players involved responsible, and our football team and university will be cooperating with all related investigations by law enforcement and the Big Ten Conference."
Suspensions coming.
IDKWDBIAnyone see Daniel Barker involved in the assault of a UM player? Appears from the video he removed himself from the situation which was good to see. I'm guessing we see a much different MSU team come Saturday, as I imagine some expulsions are incoming.
Kevin Warren does love Illinois University!Likely on Nov. 6.
During that event, a lot of Iowa fans stormed the field, one of whom got his jaw broken by an Illini player.I believe it was the 1953 game at Iowa... big fight, lots of thrown 'things'.... at us... We didn't play Iowa again until 1967... So this kind of behavior is not new...
I saw that video also. He was definitely being an antagonist. No excuse still for MSU players.I wonder if one of the scUM players assaulted was #1? There is a video of him skipping into the tunnel with zero scUM players around him.
No matter what Michigan does need to address this now. This can not continue anymore as I think there have been 3 incidents in their last 7 games in the big dump house.
Can you unequivocally condemn this, and unconditionally support it at the same time?
Asking for a friend.

That would be the definition of a politician! Can you unequivocally condemn this, and unconditionally support it at the same time?

But then how would we know it was … ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh rrrrright.Maybe I'm just paranoid... but when I commit assault, I usually try not to wear something with my name on it.
MSU is trying to get ahead of this. I wouldn’t be shocked if this was just the start. It’s really too bad all of this went down before our games against MSU (and Mich after). I am worried for our guys up at the big house with the trend for tunnel confrontations. I’m sure Bret will be prepared for all possibilities.
I get the sentiment to maybe want to fire him because his contract is so ridiculous, but I think this is spot on. As a coach when you’re players do stupid stuff, you feel guilty because you often reflect on your own practices: could I have done something better? Did I miss something? Etc etc.You really think Tucker should be fired over this? Unless there has been a pattern of this type of behavior on team or he and his coaches were standing there and did nothing to stop it, I just don’t see this as something he should be fired for. Heck even when off field criminal activities by players, it is the covering up of things or intimidating victims/witnesses that I think is fireable — unless, of course, there is a pattern also. Tucker can’t be everywhere and I highly doubt he is preaching this kind of behavior. Now will MSU try to use this as a reason to fire him? Maybe. But to paint this as a “culture” thing is a disservice to Tucker and all the MSU players who weren’t involved and wouldn’t act like this.
All that said, throw the book at the players involved.

Is this the same tunnel the Illini will enter and then exit the field after we pummel the maize and blue in a couple weeks??? Asking for a friend. It's more about the timing that Michigan uses for teams entering and leaving the tunnel. Especially for a rivalry game like Michigan-Michigan State, there should be better work of timing when the teams come in and out of the tunnel.
